We begin by playing the harp with our second finger only
Play each exercise from start to finish while keeping your knuckle round and closing all your fingers into the palm.
  • Place your second finger (index finger) on the string. Keep your knuckles rounded,
  • Keep your thumb above the second finger
  • Keep all other fingers relaxed and out of the palm. Keep your wrists relaxed and not bent outwards.
  • Pluck the string and bring all your fingers into the palm; we call this “closing” our fingers into the palm.
